A celebration of family, community and culture.

This is a festive occasion for all!  It is a joyous occasion!  It is a happy time!  It is a time to sing and dance!!!

Dr. Century will explain the Kwanzaa celebration, décor, colors, seven principles and the lighting of the candles.  She will explain how to set up Kwanzaa in your home and step-by-step the ceremony itself.  She will explain how to set up the table and what goes on the table.

The audience will participate in several sing-a-longs—The Kwanzaa song, I’ll light the candles, and It is time to celebrate.  The audience will also participate in the Kwanzaa dance.

The audience will be given several helpful ideas on arts and crafts and how to make gifts from everyday household items.  Kwanzaa prizes will be given away to lucky audience participants.
